During any deal, having a smooth transition between buyer and seller is paramount to the success of a deal. From culture differences, to deal terms, choosing the right partners and more, there are many factors which could cause friction.
Join us for the third segment of the “M&A Growth Series” brought to you by First Financial Bank, Thompson Hine, and VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm where you will learn about getting your deal from the “letter of intent” stage to closed. During this segment, we will hear from industry leaders from each of the sponsor companies, as well as Rozy Park, who helped in the recapitalization and sale of the chemicals company her parents founded, Tedia Company. Rozy will discuss when the shareholders knew it was time to sell, divesting Tedia’s Chinese business prior to closing, picking a good partner, NewHold Enterprises, and working with NewHold on important commercial and diligence matters prior to closing, and ultimately getting the deal closed.
