The COVID-19 global pandemic is impacting every company (and every individual) across our region. Governments are taking steps to mitigate both the spread of the disease and the economic impact. But given the speed at which this is happening, there is still confusion about who may be eligible for what benefits and what the long-term impact will be.

Join experts from Frost Brown Todd LLC and VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm as we examine topics including:

  • Foreign-owned firms’ eligibility to apply for the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)
  • How the expanded sick leave requirements of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act impact European employers (many of which already offer generous leave benefits)
  • Furloughs and reduction in employee hours
  • COVID-19 employee testing and what to do if an employee tests positive

We’ll also hear from Peter Feil, Vice President and General Manager of STOBER Drives in Maysville, Kentucky, about how his German-owned firm is working through the challenge, and also get an update from Rob Mancini, Senior Vice President at Huntington National Bank (the #1 SBA lender in the country) on how the PPP is being administered.

This event is for manufacturers and for European-based corporates only.
