Did you know FASB has not updated their financial reporting requirements for nonprofits since 1993? That is all about to change as the forthcoming updates will affect all nonprofit entities.

Join us for this no-cost lunch and learn to hear about the imminent changes in financial reporting for nonprofits. Stephanie Allgeyer, Shareholder with VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm, will review the upcoming changes and what actions your organization needs to take. Additionally, Anne Maxfield, Nonprofit Consultant, will discuss how a board or funding source may view the changes and how they should be approached.

About the Presenters:

Stephanie L. Allgeyer, Shareholder, CPA/CFE, joined VonLehman & Company Inc. in 2002 as an intern. She serves as the head of the firm’s Nonprofit/Governmental Service Group and is also a member of the firm’s Quality Control Committee. Stephanie has also achieved the designation of Certified Fraud Examiner and serves the firm’s clients by resolving allegations of fraud and assisting in the prevention and detection of fraud and white-collar crime.

Anne M. Maxfield launched her nonprofit consulting business in July of 2013. The nonprofit landscape and how it is impacted by philanthropy continues to evolve. Operations and fundraising are very different in 2017 compared to 15 years ago. As an independent professional, Anne Maxfield has experience in both the private and nonprofit sector and uses what she has learned to her clients' benefit. Anne works with nonprofits in three states as she helps them grow their mission in terms of operational structure, philanthropy, board development and strategic planning.
