Colleen Swanson

Experience

Colleen has long been inspired by the passion and drive of our local nonprofit community.  As such, her career has been and continues to be dedicated to the nonprofit industry in which she serves regional organizations as a trusted advisor for assurance services. She appreciates and understands the unique needs of these organizations, and it is her personal mission to serve them as a true partner. Her clients’ needs are of the utmost importance, whether they are structurally complex or fundamental in nature – she enjoys guiding her clients through unique challenges and simple day to day operations alike.

As a specialist in nonprofit accounting, Colleen has achieved the American Institute of CPA’s Nonprofit and Advance Single Audit Certifications. She is a key member of VonLehman’s Nonprofit and Single Audit Committees.

Colleen’s dedication to client needs and standards has allowed her to become a trusted advisor amongst clients and peers within the community and the financial services sector. Prior to joining VonLehman, Colleen accrued four years of audit experience at another local firm where she specialized in multifamily housing real estate industry and nonprofits. She continues to serve her community through the boards and committees she serves on.
