Nearly 130 VonLehman professionals spent August 25, 2017 supporting six nonprofit organizations with both manual and intellectual labor. The nonprofits include FreeStore FoodBank, AJ Jolly Park, Ronald McDonald House, Gleaners Food Bank, Diocesan Catholic Children’s Home, and Redwood. This is the second annual VL Cares Make a Difference Day, which is our company-wide community service day.

All of us were out there ‘Making a Difference’ in our communities, says Brian Malthouse, President of VonLehman. “Our firm has programs all year whereby we contribute to dozens of organizations, but VL Cares Make a Difference Day is our celebration of all that makes our communities great.”
Between the three VonLehman offices in Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana, VL Cares Make a Difference Day served six nonprofit agencies directly on August 25th. VonLehman contributes over a thousand hours in employee manpower each year on Make a Difference Day, volunteering at various nonprofit organizations throughout the region.
We completed a variety of projects at each location, from preparing meals, to a lake bank clean up, to a tea party complete with top hats and tiaras for the little ones. This is a special day for our employees each year, where we make a difference in the communities in which we work and live.
